Community led arts based in Preston
ArtFull formed in Summer 2012, based in Preston, Lancashire. A phoenix rising from the ashes of cultural cuts which have limited the accessibly of local community to quality art. ArtFull is a collective of skilled artists and practitioners, Becky Atherton, Bernie Velvick, Teresa East and chair Jo Cook..
ArtFull forges ahead - helping Community Groups access funding for art projects, working with schools, delivering innovative art projects, curating exhibitions, organising festivals with partners and designing accessible publications.
All of the ArtFull team are skilled fundraisers and facilitators and will work with groups and organisations to design and deliver inspired community lead projects.

Over many years Becky and Bernie from ArtFull have built up relationships with tons of groups working in Preston and Lancashire. This helps us in our aim to reach people who don't have access to arts and creative activities.
WORKING WITH SCHOOLS
Becky designs exciting and creative projects in schools using a wide range of creative activities to explore issues and provoke discussion. Subjects have included Healthy eating, body image, WWW local history and Arts Awards.
MUSEUMS AND LIBRARIES
Bernie and Becky relish finding new ways to work with the fantastic collections in our local museums and libraries. We specialise in encouraging participation and new ways of looking at stuff.

Becky is a Gold Arts Award advisor - also delivering adivisor support to Silver and Bronze Arts Award Candidates. She regularly works with Curious Minds.
Both Becky and Bernie have extensive experience of project managing creative projects for ArtFull and with other arts organisations including Spectrum Carnival Troupe.

Becky and Bernie support community organisations to access funding for creative projects. We also work with other arts organisations and advise fellow artists and creatives.
Bernie is a core member of The Brewtime Collective, a voluntary arts infrastructure organisation in Preston. The Collective supports development across the arts and cultural sector for the benefit of independent creatives and the general public. Aiming to get Preston buzzing with creativity.
